These hand-finished IP gold-plated stainless steel nibs are designed to deliver a remarkably smooth writing experience, offering the feel of a gold nib fountain pen with exceptional value. Notably, these pens maintain the presence of the classic collection, as they are the same size as the traditional Sailor 1911L.
The Muted Red fountain pen, crafted from PMMA resin, has a deep, elegant burgundy tone. To ensure a perfectly balanced, low-center-of-gravity writing experience, these pens also feature a weighted metal grip section made of brass with IP gold plating.
The cap screws to open/close and can push to post onto the back of the barrel when writing. The 1911 Casual L comes with a Sailor proprietary converter as well as two proprietary Sailor Black ink cartridges.
